Holy Moly Homemade Pizza Sauce
Holy Moly this was good! I had too much to use for one pizza so we used some to dip our homemade breadsticks in. YUM!
Jordan and I were bickering the night we had this pizza but it was good enough that Jordan broke the silence to say "This pizza is amazing!" to which I replied "I know." The bickering ended there. :)
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. minced garlic
2 tbsp. oil
8 oz. tomato sauce
6 oz. tomato pase
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. basil
1/8 tsp. pepper
Saute onion and garlic in skillet in oil until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
We had this on a homemade basil parmesan crust topped with fresh thin tomato slices and cheddar, mozza and feta cheeses. DELISH!

Reduced Fat Alfredo Sauce
When reading over this recipe I can guarantee you'll be thinking "That sounds pretty bland." I did. For some reason I decided to try it anyways. It was delish! The ingredients are things you'll always have on hand. So easy and so good!
1 c. milk
1 1/2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic
1 dash pepper
Melt butter in saucepan over med heat. Gradually whisk in flour. This will create a yellow paste. Graudally add milk, whisking until no lump remain. Continue to whisk until hot (3-5 mins.) The longer you do this the thicker the sauce will be. Add parmesan slowly, whisking. Add crushed garlic and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
